Turning Over

Oh the difference three days can make! The first time Noah ever turned over by himself was Jan. 1. Tim got to see it happen while I was cooking dinner. I was bummed to miss the big event, but I guess Tim should have a few firsts to himself since I get so many myself. The next day Noah managed to turn over two times by himself. Since Jan. 2nd, however, he really wasn't into rolling over. He could do it with help, but only managed a roll a week or so without help. Here is a video showing his tremendous efforts on Feb. 2, one month after the first time he rolled over:

Then, here are two videos from Feb. 5. I put him down on his tummy that morning and barely had time to stand up before he had rolled over on his back. As you can see in the first video, it happens fast and I almost didn't catch the roll on camera. The second video is more clear.

Now, I can't put him on his tummy without him rolling right over. The videos only have him rolling to one side, but he can manage both. It's so awesome to see him progress and it amazes me how change happens seemingly overnight.

Week Fourteen

Nov. 20-26
This week led up to Thanksgiving and as you can see we had a super fun time. We had a visit from our friend Vickie, Noah learned how to chew on his bunny and we made a trip to Laguna Beach the day before Thanksgiving. This was Noah's second trip to the beach, but the first time he had been during the day. It was so wonderful to have our whole little family together at the beach!

The extreme close ups are from tummy time. As you can see Noah is getting better at holding himself up. Little by little he's getting bigger!

Week Thirteen

This week we found Noah's new house! It was whirlwind week, we first saw the house on Thursday, had a bid in by Friday, and found out by Tuesday we were approved for it! It is just the beginning of the hectic move to come. Noah also started sleeping with "Monkey" a little stuffed animal blanket his Grammie gave him. Noah became quite good at holding the monkey, shoving it in his mouth, and sucking his thumb all at once. :) Finally, our friend Kat came to visit as well.

Week Twelve

This week we had a very special friend visit. My sorority sister, Lizzie, was traveling to San Diego and able to stop by the house for a little pizza before she got all the way there. It was so fun to see her and catch up! The other pictures are obviously Tim and Noah taking a nap together. It was so cute I couldn't pass it up!

Week Eleven

This week so many big things happened! The Phillies won the World Series, it was Halloween, Election Day, and Noah learned how to grab small items.

Bathtime is always fun here. And a great photo op. Noah will soon be too big for this sink!

On Election Day Noah went with me to the polls. We didn't put on his Obama outfit until afterward though. We had been warned they didn't appreciate "campaigning" at the polls. As you can see from his onesie, we were pleased with the outcome of the election.

In this picture Noah is grabbing a little plastic pretzel. It was the first time he had grabbed something and managed to keep a hold of it.

This picture was the last time he fit into these cute little shoes. He's growing so quickly!

We visited Carrie's house and had Halloween with her extended family. The little pumpkin with Noah is Jude, her youngest and my Godson.

You can see from the pictures we had a fun Halloween. Noah started the day by flirting with our friend Liz.

These jammies have French writing on them and Tim and I hope they don't say "Who is this ugly baby?" :) Does any one know what "Les plus beaux bebes sont en milleraies" means?

Hooray the Phillies won! Tim was SOOO happy, so Noah had to celebrate too. Thanks to Grandpop for all the props and clothes!
