Oh the difference three days can make! The first time Noah ever turned over by himself was Jan. 1. Tim got to see it happen while I was cooking dinner. I was bummed to miss the big event, but I guess Tim should have a few firsts to himself since I get so many myself. The next day Noah managed to turn over two times by himself. Since Jan. 2nd, however, he really wasn't into rolling over. He could do it with help, but only managed a roll a week or so without help. Here is a video showing his tremendous efforts on Feb. 2, one month after the first time he rolled over:
Then, here are two videos from Feb. 5. I put him down on his tummy that morning and barely had time to stand up before he had rolled over on his back. As you can see in the first video, it happens fast and I almost didn't catch the roll on camera. The second video is more clear.
Now, I can't put him on his tummy without him rolling right over. The videos only have him rolling to one side, but he can manage both. It's so awesome to see him progress and it amazes me how change happens seemingly overnight.
