Getting Ready for the Big Trip

Katie and Rich's wedding is only a week away and we are quickly approaching Noah's first flight. As it is the first time we have taken Noah away from home overnight, I have been planning and re-planning for a while now. And, in an action completely out of character for me, I have started packing several days in advance of the trip. Ask anyone who knows me, I am notorious for beginning to pack only a few hours before a flight.

I am proud to announce I already have items in the suitcase and the diaperbag even though we have four days before we fly. Here are some pictures showing the things I have been thinking through and preparing already. First, Noah's wedding outfit is complete and it fits. Thank you consignment shops! Second, Tim's matching outfit has been purchased. With Katie's colors focusing on navy, we will be a very cute family with the boys in matching blue shirts that will coordinate perfectly with the dress I'm wearing. Some of the things I am still figuring out are what I will wear during all of the non-wedding activities and which cute outfits to bring for Noah. He has so many to choose from! Below is the outfit I think he will travel in. It's a little big for him still, but it's very soft and not to warm and most importantly, it has connected feet. I am deteremined he will not pull his socks off and lose them in the airport!Hopefully the packing will continue to go well and we will fit everything in our two suitcases easily. John Wayne Airport, here we come!
